Your First Visit...

On your first visit our office manager will greet you and then you will be asked to fill out relevant forms that will help us gain information about you and your health status.

Dr. Kerew, D.C. will then meet with you to ask you some specific questions regarding your health status/ health challenge to determine whether Chiropractic care will benefit you. If she feels she can help you, your care in our office can start immediately. If she feels she is unable to help you or that a referral to another provider is indicated, she will let you know and coordinate a referral to that office.

I am happy to join Dr. Lynn’s team.  I have been in practice since 1983.  I bring a unique approach to the practice as I have a Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology.  Currently, there are only approximately 350 active diplomate chiropractic neurologists in the world. Doctors who have earned their Diplomate in chiropractic neurology have taken it upon themselves to go beyond the conventional confines of chiropractic. After completing chiropractic education, chiropractic neurologists embark on an additional 2-year program that specializes in cutting-edge, neurology based, health care.  This additional training is directed at hard to handle cases and cases where traditional chiropractic has not produced the intended results.

Techniques utilized by chiropractic neurologists have been shown to be helpful in the alleviation of symptoms associated with chronic disease. A more complete understanding of brain and spinal cord anatomy, physiology, and function, allows chiropractic neurologists to treat very complex cases. This neurology program is the first and only chiropractic postgraduate course of study to be awarded full accreditation with the National Commission for Certification Agencies (NCCA) a branch of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA).
Additionally, I found that millions of people suffer needlessly due to nutritional deficiencies.  In the 1960s my mother was diagnosed with cancer twice.  After conventional medicine failed, she began using whole food natural supplements.  She is still alive at 91.  Growing up in a holistic environment led me to Chiropractic College and continuing studies in the field of nutrition.  I have spent many weekends learning at Standard Process sponsored nutritional seminars.  It takes a lot of training to understand the appropriate use of these low dose whole food supplements.  Because of constant nutritional discoveries, I continue to study in order to bring my patients the best solutions to their health challenges.  It never fails to amaze me that the power to heal so much illness has been available in nature all along.

Lastly, I have had the honor of being the sports injury specialist for an Israeli ballet company for four years as well as working in a hospital with a pain management team of physicians.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your healthcare needs.

Massage Therapist - Eldar Makhmudov
Eldar has worked with Dr. Lynn Kerew, D.C., M.P.H. for over 10 years. He has a unique background of Russian Deep Tissue Neuro-Muscular Re-Education work especially with people who have injuries. Eldar's gift lies in knowing the intricacies of the muscle, ligament and tendon anatomy which is rare and extremely clinically beneficial for a Massage Therapist . For this reason, the combination of Dr. Kerew's work with Eldar's (if indicated) provides a comprehensive and integrative approach to successful pain management, resolution and treatment.

Thermal Scan Technology

Dr. Lynn Kerew, D.C., M.P.H., uses state-of-the-art thermal scan and detection technology. The Insight Millennium, a second generation Thermal scanner can detect and measure temperature differences in the skin to help pinpoint areas of nerve interference which may be affecting normal nerve function and body physiology. This nerve interference is also referred to as a chiropractic "subluxation".

If your body temperature is 98.6 degrees, then the left and right sides of your spine should also be the same temperature. Your skin is the largest organ of the body and the blood vessels under the skin work as the body's thermostat. (They expand to release heat and contract to retain heat controlling the body's temperature.) When the communication between the Nervous System and the blood vessels is disturbed, it causes the body's thermostat to malfunction producing an imbalanced temperature reading along the spine.

These blood vessels are controlled by the same part of the Central Nervous System that runs your organs and glands, known as the autonomic nervous system. This thermal scan provides us with the information to monitor the autonomic system for proper function.

After your examination, Dr. Kerew, D.C. will provide you with a "Report of Findings," showing you how Chiropractic care can help improve your specific health challenges. She will also provide recommendations for care so you can quickly be on your way to being pain-free and at your peak health potential.

Most people do require routine visits and follow-up to resolve long-standing problems or conditions. If this is necessary, Dr. Kerew, D.C. will work with you over a series of visits to restore your health back to balance. We provide extended work hours and convenient payment plans to help you meet these goals.

Insurance-wise, our office accepts many insurance plans. We also accept auto accident liens. For patients who have little or no Chiropractic insurance coverage, we can arrange flexible payment programs.
